So, I’m currently working in Toronto for a week, staying in a nice downtown hotel. Imagine my surprise when I opened by hotel room safe and found the following note:

Bonjour, or Hello

I’m a super genius that can read minds and look through walls. When I walked into this room I saw a door behind a wall and you’re the lucky star to enter this door after me. This door is the wall with the 3 pictures on it. This door lets you into your future and wealth. It will take you 3 days to get back. So extend your days of rent. If you had a great time reading this, which is just a funny joke … Sorry, but just to practice my handwriting. Hope you didn’t call the front desk yet.”

The note was signed and dated, but I don’t want to put that up in public.

So, I’m officially freaked out now — can’t look at that wall in the same light again!! I know it’s meant as a joke, but the hotel agree that this is one of the reasons that housekeeping should really check the hotel safe after someone checks out — who knows what could have been in it?
