Even though I liked the 70s Battle­star Galactica, the re-imagined series blew me away. The gritty “real­ism”, internal polit­ics and obvi­ous des­per­a­tion of a per­se­cuted spe­cies drew me in and kept me watch­ing week after week. Of all the Sci-Fi series I loved watch­ing, this is the only one that I actu­ally own in full on DVD.
