1/32 Mk II Viper from Battlestar Galactica
Even though I liked the 70s Battlestar Galactica, the re-imagined series blew me away. The gritty “realism”, internal politics and obvious desperation of a persecuted species drew me in and kept me watching week after week. Of all the Sci-Fi series I loved watching, this is the only one that I actually own in full on DVD. So, as I had a bit of a break from my current MSc, I decided to build the recently released 1/32 Mk II Viper model kit from Moebius.
In all it took two weeks of detailing and some modifications to the basic kit to finish. The full build diary can be found on SFM:uk, so I won’t repeat it here — it’s enough to say that this was a very enjoyable build and I’m very happy with the finished product.
